I agree. The offense has been a problem for years. Not just this year or last.

If Miles didn't change anything after the January 9 BCSCG debacle, he may never change unless the AD threatens to fire him (which Alleva will never do). Miles is arragant and hard headed which would be good if you make good decisions, but Miles does not, therefore it's bad.

If the offense remains the same, and we lose Montgomery, Mingo, Reid, and Minter we will be in for a rough season, and the wolves will begin to howl. For Les, it might be self preservation. I have no trouble with him remaining as HC, but I want an honest to God offensive coordinator. I would also like to know if we could lure Trickett or Searrels back to LSU.

I think he will. He needs to pull the trigger and completely turn the offense over to someone else. Just like the defense with Chavis.

He just got a raise and an extension. If ever he had a mandate to do whatever he wants, now is that time. As a result, if he makes a change, I believe it won't be because of any perceived pressure.

I don't know, but I did hear this morning that 1 big-time donor is very pissed at Miles' continued shite-show of an offense and will make it known to Les...I would guess that if several of these type donors came together, Miles would definitely have to listen to their complaints.

He has to if he wants to keep things civil next year. We're looking at a multitude of losses unless the offense kicks into gear. The defense will regress significantly and it doesn't matter what we tell ourselves.
