Your wasting your breath with these morons.....they are going to believe what they want.

I've been told the same thing by someone familiar with the situation as well. Even if I wasn't it isn't that hard to figure out.

We've had three offensive coordinators under Miles, and none of them have had offensive systems similiar to what they ran prior to getting here.
The only slight exception is Jimbo and a handful of his plays remained, but the offense certainly looked different.

Crowton - ran 5 wides, throw it all over the yard offense prior to getting here......did he do that here?

Studrawa - comes from the Bowling Green/Urban Meyer spread option type style of play. Is that run here?

there are also coaches that run different styles based on their talent level and personnel.

pro style offenses are not the enemy. when talent is equal or superior they are kinda the way to go. the reason meyer ran the spread option at FLorida was because of tebow. it's a little different now at OSU and was tweaked a little as a more traditional spread. and he doesn't fire the ball everywhere. it's still an offense that relies on balance.

as for crowton, i'm pretty sure we set passing and offensive records in 07. the missing piece after that year was a competent QB.

weird, it's almost like coaches play to their strenghts on what gives them the best chance to win while doing their best to hide weaknesses.

Crowton's multiple formations constantly resulted in delays of game, actually.

actually he did run a bit of 5 wide his first couple yrs. tailed off after Lee's int problems.

and Crowton wasn't just a 5 wide guy, he had some option teams at BYU and Oregon.

Does LSU have the personnel to run these types of offense?
Jefferson? Lee? What-A-Berger? Hell no. So what is LSU left with? a pocket passer with horrible feet, suspect decision making abilities at the line and horrible accuracy.
As a caveat, the O line looked like a High school line. Their play was wretched.
