I said earlier in the thread that you have to put time travel aside to enjoy the film.

I enjoyed the movie just fine, but if you want to have a conversation about time travel and then just say "it works because they take liberties whenever they feel like it," well no, it doesn't. It may make the story flow, but that doesn't mean it's correct.

Again, loved the movie, but they whiffed on time travel.

you're talking about it as if time travel really exists and they "got it wrong"

it doesn't

there are just theories

this movie uses multiple theories

it didnt whiff on time travel

You would watch Star Wars and complain about all the tight manuevering the X-wings do in space.

When someone would say "that's not the point of the movie" I'm sure you would retort "Space travel is what the movie is about and they wiffed on it".
