You should know the play.

Loston... He stayed healthy and had a solid year... Expect him to be a "playmaker" next year

Kwon. Can't wait until next year

Bro, I can't watch every game being out of state. This appears to be a normal catch against a team wearing red - Miss State or the Aggies?

Simon, I don't think he is really overlooked, but when anyone lists our top defensive players, he seems to be the last one mentioned.
Media wise he is always brought up in connection with Mathieu or Claiborne. And he should have been named All-SEC

It may have been the second or third best catch of the year. And it came at a critical time against aTm. It was a thing of beauty.
Overlooked player of the year = Ron Martin
21 tackles, which equals that of Logan, Monty and Mingo.
(OK, I'm reaching. It's Barrow.)

Trai Turner.
Once he got settled the line was shored up. This is what allowed the passing game to get better during the latter part of the season. During the first few games, Mett was getting killed on a lot of dropbacks (remember the hit he took against North Texas?). Miles and Co. kept the passing game simple because the O-line couldn't protect the QB. Once the line was shored up and they could rely on the line to protect the QB, the passing game opened up. I like points and flashy plays as much as the next guy, but the big games are won by the dudes in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Isn't he a Senior?

I agree that Vadal Alexander had a great year, but I believe he actually was getting the credit for it. On the other hand, Turner seemed to be a bit overlooked. That's why I listed him instead of Alexander.

Defense Lamin Barrow
Offense Lael Collins

Agreed. Alexander was the much more heralded recruit too

Hard to argue those picks, maybe Trai Turner or PJ for offense? Idk Collins was dominant and a model of consistency for the line all year.

No disrespect, but La'el got plenty of notice/credit so I don't see how he could be classified as overlooked. Unless your argument here is that he was even better than he was given credit for.
On the flip side, I think you nailed (so to speak) the pick for Defense.

Another vote for Loston. Glad he stayed healthy this year.
