Anyone know anything about this gun?

I get free .40 rounds so it intrigues me.

I asked the same question awhile back, got no response. It seems adequate for the price, but there are probably much better options, just way out of the price range.

With free ammo, I could see this being something useful to have around. Maybe put a hundred bucks into it with a machinist/gun smith and it'll be a good weapon.

Their pistols are garbage and while I have no experience with them, CoastieGM praises them. Or it may be tenfoe. One or the other really likes them.

I am looking for something for mom to have in the truck when she is on the farm/ranch.

Wild hogs and coyotes are getting pretty bad.

Any other suggestions?

A mini-14 would be good too.

An actual rifle cartridge would probably fit this application much better

It is heavy but everything I have heard about it was positive. Totally different than the hi-pernt pistols. At one time you could get those for around $200, what are they going for now?

330-380 depending on caliber

Already has a m14

Wanted something a little more compact.

Basically looking for a new toy for myself that I pretend to give her.

Hell buy one. If nothing else you should be able to soak it in kroil and have a really fun bullet waster.

I had one. It was the basic carbine. I liked it but wound up trading it because I didn't use it much. I got a ccw pistol for it.

That's some expensive ammo.

My understanding is they are reliable and fun shooters. The carbines were the only High Point product that the gun store I used to at in Nashville would carry. If you get it cheap enough, why not?

I bought one a couple months ago.
Finally shot it for first time today.
Put about 50 rounds through it , at 25 yards, standing , no support, factory sights. Every one on a sheet of paper.

Cycled fine, is a bit heavy , but is quick to re-aquire target.

Mine is .45 and for the money I am happy
