yea but man every single coach and team in the NBA deals with injuries each and every season. that excuse is legit if you're competing for a title and someone like LeBron or your star player gets hurt, but we're talking about Monty improving the team as a whole and his decision making late in games. Even if you take Eric Gordon out of the picture this year and last, the Hornets have an overall better roster this season than they did last season and they've only gotten worse.

But very few have to deal with their only good player only playing 9 games over a year and a half. Its been a very extreme situation
