Will Rangers FC ever go back to the first division of SPL?

Or are they doomed to become the SMU of the soccer world? Unbelievable circumstances that are clearly horrible for the SPL.

I'm pretty new to keeping up with European soccer, so I'm still confused as to why rangers got moved down so far. Can someone explain in American terms please?

I'm not sure who you're referring to. There isn't any club that goes by that name as far as I know.

No, because they don't exist anymore.
Their Zombie club (Sevco 5088/The Rangers IFC) has a chance of getting to the SPL in three years, if the economic shotgun doesn't blast their brains. And IMO, the Zombies won't make it to next August. The fighting after that between the Orange Teddys, Di Stefano, Bomber Brown, The Greatest Ever Fenian, and Chuckie Green (with the possibility of the Cardigan showing up to "save" them) will be something to behold.
