So I read an article saying Sony plans to back the vita for at least 10 years. BUT they're having problems getting people to make games for it. This worries me and confuses me. The games out HAVE to be making money since they're virtually a monopoly for the vita. Why wouldn't more high profile games want to jump in on the action early before there's a huge library?

I really want zombies. I want NCAA and I would like to see high profile games at least being discussed. All of the upcoming games seem to be lowballers.

This is a great handheld console but I remember thinking dream cast was a great console also. Please please please don't let this be another dream cast! I love this vita but that article has me worried. I just don't get why developers wouldn't want to make games for this beast of a handheld.

I still think the biggest game that is upcoming and ever announced for the handheld is Soul Sacrifice. Sony is going to be pushing it as their killer app for the handheld.

Also don't forget that in 2006 they were also saying that the ps3 was dead in the water. That's probably the best thing I can tell you.. I'm seeing an interest in the VITA right now, that I started seeing in the ps3 about 5 years ago.. I think ultimately the VITA does much MUCH better than the psp ever did, will it ever be as big as the 3DS? Nah, but I think it'll do incredibly good, no worries.

also, could I get a link to that article? If it was before Nov. 20th, I would take everything it says with a grain of salt.. before Black Friday the VITA was looking like it was dead in the water.. after Black Friday, it has surpassed every single goal they wanted.. just sayin'. The reason I think we are just NOW getting PSO news, is because Sega was waiting to see what the console sales looked like over the holidays before jumping on-board.

also.. I'm half expecting a Monster Hunter to be announce SOMETIME, and they are now going to release HD versions of the Tales games on the VITA as well, both of which are HUGE console sellers.

P.S: October was the month Japan broke 1mil sales, after Persona came out, huge sales in Japan.. Dec. for North America, the bundle sales were incredible in NA over the holiday.
