I have no problem with it. I'm all for paying a higher sales tax, as long as everyone has to pay it too. I'd be ok with income tax, as long as everyone had to pay it. That is the problem.

Our state sales tax is 9% right? What is the 7% in the article on the Money Board? Is that the increase? So we'd be at 16% sales tax?
ETA: This could be a big win because I buy a lot of my consumer products off Amazon. No taxes, for the most part.
