Take out the 1-15 compiled by the shite team he assembled the year after he left and the record doesn't look too bad. He sucked and made a lot of terrible decision in Miami, don't see a reason to paint a different picture.

Freaking this. Saban coached for two years, and then jumped ship because he knew what was coming next. You are foolish to think he wasn't a failure in the NFL.

Oh, and the Dolphins, under Sparano, made the greatest single-season turnaround in NFL history (from 1-15 to 11-5). Of course, Sparano can't get credit for that because he did it with "Saban's players", amirite?

All teams listed you remove their worst season and guess what their record with Dolphins is still similar as they had 2/3 win seasons in there.

Dolphins went from 4-12'to 9-7 under Saban in his first season. From the 28th rated offense and 20th rated defense to 16th rated offense and 15th rated defense.

The fall off had a lot to do with a coach in over his head who should not have been a head coach and a combination of bad players/injuries. Cleo Lemon/Trent Green were the starters during that 1-15 season and Ronnie Brown was injured while having a good year.
