38-56 since Saban left says other wise

By comparison...
Raiders 34-60
Arizona 45-49
Jacksonville 38-56
St. Louis 25-68-1

So 2 teams have been worse since Saban left the Dolphins.... they've accomplished so much in their 1 year of winning and it so proves they haven't been horrible

Take out the 1-15 compiled by the shite team he assembled the year after he left and the record doesn't look too bad. He sucked and made a lot of terrible decision in Miami, don't see a reason to paint a different picture.

It's hard to defend Saban at Miami though many are trying. The roster was cut to 20 players when he arrived so he helped to build that lousy team.

He also made a huge mistake in how he tried to coach professional players and NFL coaches. GE thought his college style of motivational posters and strict college type dress codes, rules etc would work.

It just didn't. Players laughed at him behind his back. Turned out he couldn't take their scholarships away.

He also built a miserable offense, just terrible. He found out fairly quickly that there are no cupcakes in the NFL schedule and he was in over his head. That was when his pitiful sneaking around and lying began.

I'm not saying he couldn't be a good coach if he tried it again, I'm sure he would do things differently but his first stint was a bust.
