Yeah, just stick within your budget and a reputable company and you will be good to go. You can always upgrade later but more than likely won't have to, unless you just have the itch again.

If you think you might want to change out the hand-guard in the future to something free floating you might better off $$$ time and energy wise building your own upper assembly. The front sight gas block is held on with taper pins and can be a bitch to take off. If you don't want to take off the gas block you can always just chop the front sight off if you need a low profile gas block to go under a handguard.
