Yep, guys trying to get the best bang for the buck really need to look out for these two options
16" BCM with CHF barrel
16" BCM
Neither comes with handguards, but the last time one was listed it came with the option to add BCG and CH for $270 I think.
Then its up to you to decide what type of rail system you want, $20 standard handguards or hundreds on quad rails. But def two very solid options to keep an eye on.

So $730 for a complete BCM upper (minus hand guards which are relatively inexpensive?)?

Dont ask me to do math, but yep, all you would need would be handguards. And the standard A2s are dirt cheap, or you can spend hundreds on DD, Larue, Troy, ect. Depends on what you want.

So my lower shipped Tuesday, arrived at my FFL Thursday (USPS FTWFO), and I put it all together last night.
300 blackout build
Seekins forged lower
Rubber City BCG
Wilson Combat upper w/1:8 twist 16" stainless barrel

Man, that looks sweet as hell
What do you think about the Seekins?

I like it, I usually put my hand on the magazine well and the little makeshift grip they have in nifty. Its a lot lighter than I would've thought as well. My iron sights are on the way, and a Trijicon ACOG will get mounted on it from there when I have $1k to spend.

Going to call my FFL again today. Man must work his arse off, cant get through to him! On Monday my Aimpoint comes in, I will literally have everything this rifle needs but the damn stripped lower, which is Seekins, thats why I asked
You go with Magpul folding sights or something else?

Just magpuls, I debated getting Troy's tritium sights, and I still might and just put the magpuls on the one I'm building for my brother. Its all going to depend on if I end up doing a lot of night hunting for these piggies.

This was my first build, and I'm pretty proud of it. From all my years dealing with them in the military, I never took apart a lower or anything. We were always told it was "too complicated" and all that jazz so going in to last night I was a bit nervous.
Took a detent and spring to the face one time, and the roll pin for the trigger guard was a bit troublesome since I couldnt find my vice grips but everything else was smooth.
