I buy 5 lb. bags of roasted beans and grind my own. Usually buy them from Amazon. Last bag I bought was the Italian Roast Espresso beans. Twas fantastic.

I actually called the community coffee office to ask if they are going to start making Kcups. Told me they should start at the beginning of the year!!!

That's great news! Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely be on the lookout and will make the switch. I love me some dark roast community.

My cheap standbys are Community and 8 O'Clock. I'll drink some Starbucks blends, but Dunkin is too light.

To get something fresh, I usually pick up local beans from Fresh Market or Whole Foods, makes a big difference.

I've been a fan of Community Cafe' Special. Looking for something cheaper but still gets the gears grinding in the morning.

New Orleans Roast Dark. Usually costs 5.99 or so for a pound.

I drink mostly locally (San Francisco) roasted stuff when I am at home. There is a place that roasts there beans on site about 4 blocks from my place. It's a bit more than what I would pay at a grocery store but its local and great beans.

If we are having a bunch of people over well buy the Costco Guatemalan bean which are pretty decent.

Starbucks Quad Espresso. 4 sugars, 1 milk. Oatmeal with dried fruit drizzled with cinammon on top. USA today. Yesterday's WSJ and NYT. Great conversation with the regulars.
Every morning for the last 5 years.

Never heard that. But I only have that 1 dose of caffeine in the morning. I don't drink soda, chocolate, tea or anything else that contains caffeine the rest of the day.

Eight O'Clock Coffee is pretty good for a cheaper brand, I recently changed it up and bought the mocha flavor and was pleasantly surprised.

On a related note this is buy far the best coffee mug I've ever had: LINK
