Scripted situations, and then they just roll footage. It's essentially an improv show. And I like that these guys are smart enough to be in on the joke. It's just a fun show that's legitimately funny.
Yeah, I think the biggest draw for most of us is that these dudes could easily be our friends. We can all see ourselves pretty much acting like this on the regular, at work, in the woods etc. Nothing they do is a huge stretch. I mean some things can border "over the top" but even then it seems to serve a purpose and it turns out funny.
I'd like to think if I was a CEO of a multi-million dollar company, I'd try to carry myself and my family in a similar way.

Some of you nerds take yourselves way too seriously. Willie and Jase have already admitted that it's "guided reality". They are put in certain positions that are planned, but the back and forth is real and that's why people enjoy the show. A show this successful is going to have its haters and snobs, but these guys are genuinely good, witty guys and that's why people like the show.

i have a legit question. why does "lil will" (willie's youngest boy) have an afro?
Posted on 12/14/12 at 10:14 am to PortCityTiger24
makes more sense now. i didn't really watch it closely the other night.

I wonder that too. I kind of assumed that maybe they adopted a black kid or something, but surely they wouldn't name him "Will" if he was adopted. He looks NOTHING like the rest of them though.

Si is actually married. they wanted to portray him as single on the show.

They acknowledged that on one of the last couple of episodes. They adopted him when he was 1 month old.

Oh ok guess I missed it.
I always think I've seen all of them and then it seems like once a week, one will pop up that I haven't seen. I've prob missed at least 2 or 3 I'd imagine.

they literally spelled it out to you in the Christmas special, talked about the adoption and everything.

Well they play so damn many of them it would be easy to miss one and not know it. I am the same way, thought ive seen em all and then one pops up ive never seen. Its like the gift that keeps on giving.

I think I've seen all of them.. but then again I've also seen most of them in person because they came and spoke at my church a few years back, so yeah.

yeah exactly.
And I still haven't totally finished the Christmas one. I've tried 4 or 5 different times to watch it, but something always happens and I have to stop it. It's like God doesn't want me to see it. I'm only at the part where Uncle Si is playing the elf and shitting on all the little kids dreams
