I really can't call that bc I don't know him. If I had to guess he probably does embrace his heritage. He is very well rounded kid. But he is still a cornball aka he is Urkel when he played bball.

So the "real" black people are angry because he doesn't speak like English is his third or fourth language, doesn't wear his clothes 5 sizes too big, dates white girls, and doesn't practice all around general thuggery?
I guess the "real" black people don't realize that if he acted like "them" he would not be taken seriously by anyone and probably wouldn't have graduated from Baylor and won the heisman trophy. He won over a lot of those voters because of his quirky personality. It seems like a lot of people have a problem with his work ethic and humbleness. That's what is pathetic.
