I was a fan of Utah State basketball long before they became nationally known for their rabid fanbase at the Spectrum
I watched Stew Morrill and Utah State knock off Ohio State in the 2001 NCAA tournament and fell in love with his offensive system
Then he was a finalist for the TCU job in 2002 and I could have seen him right here in Fort Worth, but we picked Neil Dougherty(RIP) instead and our program has been in the gutter ever since. I was so mad that we bypassed Stew Morrill that I said I hope that he becomes the greatest coach Utah State has ever had, and I was right. 13 straight 23-win seasons that was snapped last year.
