Seriously, if you're looking for home defense, skip the .357, and either get a Taurus Judge, or a 12 gauge pump.
If you're dead set on the 357 magnum, Taurus and Rossi will not be the same quality as a Ruger or S&W.
I can't really tell you much else about revolvers, because I've hated every single one I've ever touched except for the Ruger Single Six.
