I expect him to really open some eyes in the cone drills. I have seen some videos of him doing cone drills, bag drills, basic change of direction drills. He changes direction faster than any player I have ever seen. He can run full speed in one direction and turn around and be at full speed again with little effort. its really impressive and that is one reason he causes so many turnovers. QB's dont expect him to be there quite so fast and throw picks. RB's dont cover the ball up fast enough becuase they think they have a second or two and he closes in and strips it. I'm gonna be rooting for the kid, loved watching every second he was on the field.

How fast do people think he is?

Or, more precisely, what time is he going to run?

Mathieu seems like a 4.4 guy with the ability to change direction on a dime. I think if he runs in 4.4 range someone may take a chance on him in the second round. Hopefully the young man can work out his demons, because he was THE BEST football player I ever watched in Death Valley.

I can't believe the hate mathieu gets from this board after two of the greatest years we've seen from a player in this schools history. He made dumbass decisions but come on he still love this school.

He has more than speed. He has instincts you can't teach. Hopefully he gets his sht together because I want to see him succeed at the next level. He is about as big of an underdog story as it comes, and he made some mistakes. I wish the best for TM7

Why was that so funny? Are you saying he didn't have two of the greatest years in the programs history?

I think Mathieu runs in the 4.4's, and I hope he gets picked up by someone and stops fricking up. Has there been a better two year defensive run by one player at LSU than Mathieu?

LOL not sure if serious? Only on the rant is smoking pot considered the same as fifteen years in prison via breaking in 3 different women's houses to watch them sleep and commit burglary's.
