I love TM7. I have no hate for whatever bad decisions he's made in the past to get him suspended/kicked off the team. It's his life. However, I am realistic about 40 times and know they are often more embellished than handicaps on the golf course.

I say he runs between 4.45 and 4.5. He'll be a better SS than corner IMO

can't believe the hate mathieu gets from this board after two of the greatest years we've seen from a player in this schools history. He made dumbass decisions but come on he still love this school.

Agree 100%. Hes the 1 that made the mistakes and has to live with them.

And i do doubt that he runs in the 4.3s but this shows me that his goal is to run in the 4.3s, which means to me he can run in the 4.4s or lower. If he runs a 4.4, that will be a great time for him.

Quick question...

Is it likely that TM7 will be selected to work out in the NFL combine that other big time prospects get to work out at?

I ask because people will want to see him, but I don't know if there is some kinda of eligibily requirement with not being in school/getting kicked off team.

And 40 time is a diff type of speed. The most important in a 40 is your first 10 yards. Out of the blocks, keep your head low, and first few steps means everything in the 40. TM wouldnt run a blazing 60 or 100, but he does have amazing acceleration and 1st step. The return vs. Arky he made 1 move and then was in top gear. Thats what a 40 time is all about. How quick can you get out of the blocks and into top gear.

I still dont think he will be in the 4.3s, but I can def see him running in the mid to low 4.4s.

And I almost guarantee he will be at the combine. Hes 1 of the most intriguing prospects for the draft. And with him not playing football this past year, scouts and coaches will want to see him.

He can tell us all he wants that he has 4.3 speed, but he doesn't. He will not run a 4.3

That's a NFL thing they don't care about college eligibility.

I wasn't really asking about college eligility per se... mostly asking if the combine itself had eligibility requirements of it's own to pick players for it. I'm sure they don't, just didn't know.
