Based on the things I am hearing from good friends who have represented major Federal cases against LA politicians this is the area that scares the NFL the most.
It would be easier and less costly for them to drop everything now, but ego has the NFL in a fricking no win situation.

one thing stands out. if the league drops/reduces suspensions, it makes the case against Goodell stronger (he screwed up).
This is incentive for the league (Tags) to hold fast on all initial suspensions.
I wouldnt expect to see any reductions. And it looks like this will linger in to next season potenially scrwing it up a bit too...
A potential win for goodell. We lose our coaches/GM this year, and lose our players next year. Theyve fricked us for 2 years.
