Not 100% sure, but I think he made a kid do physical punish work and it was blown up and called abuse. Wall squats or something like that and no the kid did not play sports......obviously. Coach is now doing well somewhere else, but I enjoyed him as a coach and person. Hope the kid and his family are doing well also
That's it? That wasn't out of the ordinary for that school. I remember one teacher having students cut grass with scissors.
Had my ear pulled by JT more times than I'd like to remember

Where is the Rummel QB going to go to school at next year?

He's got an offer from Memphis
Heard he wants to go to Nebraska with Terry Joseph

Yep, don't know what this world is coming to, but you have to watch what you do these days or who you do it to. A good coach knows just the right buttons to push on and off the field

I guess so. I didn't play any sports but if I cut out of line my parents were fine with the discipline.

That would be nice, everybody going after him as a QB?

That's what I had heard about Sloan. I think they forced him out at JC but could be wrong. Prob had to due with the publicity it drew. Was in the paper and all. My friends all liked him at JC but I'm sure the rummel students liked the teacher they were selling weed to

I think most schools want him at QB
Has offers from FIU, KSU, USM, Tulane, ULM, Nebraska. He could play at those schools and thrive I think. LSU, MSU, Aubrun etc are listed as having some interest in him but no offers.
Though he is a big ole boy. A Jesuit coach told me he may be close to 240lbs at 6'1". I bet some schools may toy around with the idea of him playing LB. He may be a step slow though.

I won't guess, I know that when I played in 4A
What years did you play at Curtis? I played and graduated with Wells and Viloria.

Sell weed to a Curtis teacher?

If he's not afraid to hit that may be a good fit, I thought he could run well, no?

Nevermind Les, forgot we got off track earlier

I heard Williams is a 4.8-4.9 guy

Yes. It was good seeing you after the game the other day. I just read through the whole thread.
