Most teams would have lost to Florida and Alabama so LSU shouldn't get credit b/c their schedule forces them to play two good teams. That is at the heart of the SEC bias issue, it seems like SEC teams don't drop much in the rankings when they lose to other SEC teams.

I would say the SEC was really down this year. Florida was better but not as good as they have been been in the past especially on offense, and Alabama has dropped off a bit as well. UGA seems beatable. You had several teams in the league like Tenn and Kentucky who were as bad as any ACC team.

Just think, you got pounded by the fifth or sixth best SEC team. We will be taking Clemson to the woodshed in the chicken bowl!! Blee Dat

Tenn beat ACC middle of the pack team NC State by 14... and we can all agree Tenn was bad this year.

And then NC State beat FSU if you want to use all the what if logic...

Down?!! 6 teams in the top 10 with one playing in the national title. no other conference comes close and any of those teams in the sec that are in the top 10 would be favored in any out of conference matchup.

Florida wasnt good enough to win the Division in the SEC but wiped the floor with the ACC Champ

But the SEC had a "down" year

Hmmm,... 6 SEC in the final BCS poll. Yeah, that's a bummer of a season. How many did the Anemic Creampuffs' Conference have in the top 10? Also, SEC won 5 of the 6 games vs the ACC, with the only loss by Auburn who finished in last place in the SEC.
