To be expected. As has been pointed out, many of the iconic nicknames in the league would fail to pass the initial public opinion poll today. That's the power of branding.

Voodoo apparently is unavailable. Brass is shitty 2nd choice settling for people still longing for a return of the Jazz. Outside of those 2 no names are really decent.

its kind of like highschool when all the cool kids end up unemployed and living in a trailer. that's what happens with the "cool" branding ideas.
