I find that mayo takes on the flavor of whatever its in, so I'm missing how it can be disgusting unless you mean by itself. Mix mayo with some tuna and it doesn't taste like mayo.. It tastes like tuna. Make a Caesar dressing and it doesn't taste like mayo.

I consider mayo a texture changer, not a flavor changer.
