Have some whole birds. Thought about roasting them? I normally cook em down and make a gravy. What says the OB?

Go to the Food Board's Recipe Book and look at the Duck Ville Platte. Cut the cook time to 2 to 2.5 hours. You'll like it...a lot.

Brown them for a little while.
Put breast down in big pan.
Cook for 2 hours on 325
Take out, put back in pot and let them cook down for about 20 more minutes with the drippings and a little water.
