Last night was pretty bad since the Bama homer is so giddy and when he did his Les impersonation. Meanwhile Richt has not been blasted at all for the end of that game but it was just a valiant effort on UGA's part - you gave up 300+ rush yards.

Richt lost due to a defender's great effort in tipping the ball, what did he do wrong at the end of the game?

your an idiot if you dont think richt is partly to blame...2 reasons: 1. he should have spiked the ball and had at least 3 shots at the endzone for a TD...and 2. he didnt coach his players well enough to a. drop the pass to stop the clock if it isn't a sure TD instead of catching the ball and b. throw it to the endzone instead of short.

Umm did you watch?

Maybe clock the ball since the clock was stopped with 15 seconds left after the first down inside the 10. Would have been 13-14 after the clock inside the ten. Could have thrown three passes into the endzone.

If Miles had done that, people like you would be on here blasting away saying how he should be fired for his compelte incompetence.

1. if you blame him for not "coaching" his players to drop the ball. Yes he should have spiked it into the ground instead of catching it but thats pure instinct for a WR.

2. He didn't throw it short. It was a throw headed for the end zone, but it was tipped by a linebacker and then falling short.

IMO, Georgia didn't manage the opportunity well. Richt/offensive coordinator didn't instruct his qb to ground the ball leaving 14 secs on the clock which should have given him two, maybe three chances for shots into the endzone. the qb panicked and threw the ball to the only place it shouldn't have gone....tip or not.

btw, reece davis is a tool.

Exactly.

They took 30 seconds to run 2 plays and they ran 8 seconds off before snapping the ball on the long reception. I was screaming at the TV. CLOCK IT!

Terrible, terrible coaching.

If any fanbase has expertise on determining shitty clock management, it's LSU fans.

I generally agree that he should have clocked it. However, on the other hand, he has an experienced QB and Bama's defense was reeling. I really don't have a problem trying one quick strike before the D could get re-set. Plus, had it been incomplete in the endzone he would have gotten another shot.

The real problem is that UGA tried to substitute instead of lining up and taking a shot, which caused the confusion and led to two receivers in the same area.

It was a mistake, but its not like his QB spiked the ball with no time left on the clock.

ETA: Davis' comments about Les reflect exactly how he is viewed by the rest of the country.

LSU's seem to get pointed out more....but ALL teams have em and it's not just an LSU problem.

Hell, even Drew Brees and Vitt had a moment during the Atlanta game.

Get some new material

You are insane if you think any player on any team would have done anything other than what was done.

I the end, it probably evened out. Saban screwed up at the end of the first half and Richt screwed up at the end of the game

The same thing could have happened even after the ball was clocked, you inbred morons.

The defender tipped it, the WR reacted. Nothing was on the coach

How did it even out? They were still able to kick a FG at the end of the half.

Rece Davis usually gives LSU some pretty good attention. I don't really have too many complaints about him. Also he likes Les Miles which is welcome.
