ETA: Davis' comments about Les reflect exactly how he is viewed by the rest of the country.

not really....I know adults all over the country who understand and respect what LM has done at LSU. frankly, it's the LSU fan base that most of them think are unrealistic and petty. the hyper-critical twits that live on message boards and swallow every baited hook thrown by espn will never understand what Miles/staff have accomplished at LSU. this weekend, I saw a list based on total athletic and academic excellence of american universities and LSU was ranked in the top five with schools like notre dame, stanford and duke. that tells me more about LSU/Aleva/Miles et all than anything any of you twits or reece davis has to say.

your an idiot if you dont think richt is partly to blame...2 reasons: 1. he should have spiked the ball and had at least 3 shots at the endzone for a TD...and 2. he didnt coach his players well enough to a. drop the pass to stop the clock if it isn't a sure TD instead of catching the ball and b. throw it to the endzone instead of short.

yep, this covers it - at least that is what I was watching Saturday evening and PBJ is spot on

Richt lost due to a defender's great effort in tipping the ball, what did he do wrong at the end of the game?

Not clocking the the ball with 15 seconds left is inexcusable and very stupid. All on Richt, Murray wanted to clock it.

The same thing could have happened even after the ball was clocked, you inbred morons.

Naw...still time to clock it again if that same thing happened and would have had one final play to win it.

edit: this is assuming that play was a first down play

This goes against every instinct that you have in playing football. The pass was going to the endzone and got tipped. What if he had let the ball fall and there weren't any defenders around him? Hard to coach against instinct my friend

The real problem is that UGA tried to substitute instead of lining up and taking a shot, which caused the confusion and led to two receivers in the same area.

Richt said after the game that the play was a fade to the end zone. The underneath receiver was there because he can distract and sometimes draw the defender covering the fade. Two receivers in the same area was the way the play was designed.

It's amazing how many people are discarding the amount of success teams have had against BAMA in a hurry up. UGA only gets off 2 more plays if you spike the ball. Question is would the first play called after the spike have been the same play they ran? A TD is the win, an incomplete pass means only 1 play left anyway. UGA would not have gotten 3 shots at the endzone after the spike. UGA didn't lose because of poor clock management. They lost because of a tipped ball and a receiver playing on instinct.
