Awesome video, but I'm still a little confused. Are the Link and Zelda who originally established Hyrule the same Link and Zelda in OoT, WW, etc.? I think it is mentioned that they are their descendants, but that doesn't make since either because they would be brother and sister? Am I looking at this all wrong?
They are not the same. It's assumed that they're descendents. Some of them are the same - like the OoT to MM link is the same, and the WW/PO/ST Links are the same.
Since I haven't read Historia I can only assume, but I'm pretty sure that Link and Zelda have never actually been together a couple. They've never had children.

It was established in Skyward Sword that the descendants of that game's big bad would forever haunt the descendants of SS's heroes.
No children have ever been established between Link and Zelda, but ya gotta think he tapped that right? Right?

Of course. Every time.

Except Twilight Princess
That was a four way

Skyward Sword I think implies it. Its the one Zelda where a romantic connection is confirmed.

True. Still no children though.

I couldn't at the time and never played it. Currently the only thing holding me back is availability of the game.
Really?
Odd that a gamecube game is tough to get.

Very expensive online.
You can find it at local stores for decent prices. Last time I saw one was at my local GameStop for about $20. I figured they were aware of the rarity but some policy stopped them from selling it online.

Jeez, I guess I never thought of that. Mine is somewhere up in the attic if I had to guess.

I wasn't a fan of the graphics in Wind Waker either but once you start playing the game you really start to love them.
My 1a and 1b of the series are OoT and Wind Waker.
They by far had the best gameplay and storyline, in my opinion.

OoT has a very basic and predictable story. Wind Waker, while having a better storyline, just isn't all that special of one either. I'd say the clear best storyline in a Zelda game is indesputably Majora's Mask. Its debatable on which Zelda is the best game, but I don't think there's much of a contest when it comes to story. Its really the only Zelda game's story I could imagine working on the big screen.

Skyward Sword could work. Maybe. Not as well as Majora, but.. It could work. You know how Americans love visuals. Imagine the visuals from the Skyloft on the big screen in HD.

I'll agree with that.

OoT holds a special place in my heart I was 11 when it came out and I remembered watching my dad play on Nes and then playing LttP also.
Then finally seeing it in these news graphics at that age blew my mind. Prolly one of my greatest game experiences ever.
The moment when you are awakened and have grown wow so awesome.

My mind = Blown when I saw adult Link for the first time. That's what was so great about OoT the first play through. You had no idea what was coming next. The storyline was masterful and so was the gameplay. It's still my number 1 game of all time. I really liked MM but could never really get into it like I did OoT or WindWaker.

IDK man, the dark feel to Majora's Mask is right above OoT.
They are right up there. I gave OoT and LttP more play throughs than Majora's Mask though.
Zelda was such a huge part of my childhood.

I'm not really a big a fan of the third timeline. To just say that Link died fighting Ganondorf is an obvious cop out. When did he die? How? We never saw it happen. Atleast the second timeline has a "logical" thought process behind it. I guess they just needed it to make the whole series come together since they obviously didn't plan for the games to develop much of a chronology to them.

I don't think it states that Link is killed, just that he was incapable of stopping Ganon. That may imply death, but it doesn't necessarily mean that is the case.
Also, see Henry's comment above mine for my opinions on this Gandalf business.
