They did that with 4 important personnel moves-

JJ Watt & Connor Barwin, two day one every down starters that are playmakers

Signed two major free agents, Jonathan Joesph shored up their weakest link at CB and Danieal Manning a savvy veteran safety in his prime was added.

We're just hoping for a turnaround to get in the middle of the pack. I believe it could happen with just a couple of personnel moves: Install a true sackmeister that has to be accounted for every down. Then add one more real WLB to go with Lofton & Hawthorne. Hawthorne has a solid resume but has not yet been 100% this year IMO.
