The guy has been great for the team (he won us a Superbowl if some of y'all morons forgot) and great for the city. So after 2 bad games we got morons saying he we should trade him for Rivers. We got another moron saying he didn't do shite in 09. Like really the guy tackles have been horrible this yr and plus Sean Payton is a big part of Drew success

Look, Drew held the Saints and the fans hostage after being offered $18 million + a year. This at a time when his leadership was needed more than any other time. He skipped the spring trainings. He got what he wanted, the highest paid player in the NFL, so let me tell you, he earned the right to be criticised, and if you look at the first 3 games, his performance wasn't so hot there either. There is something called karma, and Brees brought this on himself with his holdout.

So you are mad because the man held out for a raise. He deserves every penny he got in his new contract. The man was only making 10 million a yr. Guys like Bradford and Russell had much bigger contracts them him.

I agree with that

Brees is a fantastic player and deserved to be paid as such - he held out to be paid at a higher level than he deserves tho.

If he was really a team first guy he would have taken just a couple million less to make it less about his ego and more about making this season more successful. He didn't and the season isn't - the criticism he is catching now is deserved in those respects.
