superstar equals Heisman. Heisman equals qb's and running backs. Louisiana doesn't produce high profile qb's and the running backs it does produce are big, bruising power backs.

talent wise...JR was the closet thing we have had to being a superstar. and then, of course, there was a kid named Perrilloux who was you basic woulda', coulda', shoulda'.

Nah, that's just a recent trend. Marshal Faulk, Warrick Dunn, Joe McKnight.

ETA: forgot about Warrick Dunn. may as well include Travis Minor too.
