sorry your state sucks bro. That's gotta be rough knowing you literally have no shot at winning anything ever.

Nice deflection, since that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand.

You highly educated LSU guys (I'm feeling nice this morning) want to know how ANYONE would want to avoid Miles. I answered. Miles at OSU = 57% winning percentage. Miles at LSU = 81%.

Louisiana = HIGHEST per capita NFL athletes of any state

He's a good coach, but he wouldn't get the recruits needed to be great at Arkansas. We need a great X's and O's coach, a great recruiter (not one that can just call up the top 25 guys in his state most years and expect commitments - especially since Arkansas doesn't even PRODUCE half of that in terms of SEC athletes), and a good game day coach.

If he ain't all of those things, why would Arkansas fans be happy? Miles isn't all of those things. Gary Patterson, for instance, is someone that would fill all of those voids. Miles is a good fit for LSU, but a terrible fit for Arkansas. He'd be a good fit for Alabama, Texas, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, etc. But I just don't think he could raise a program above it's relative recruiting position like Petrino did with his game planning and execution.

We could do worse, sure. But until a long list of innovative coaches turned us down, I would not be happy with a guy who won 57% of his games at Arkansas, oops Okie State, the last time he was there.
