Miami low-balled him, didn't even offer him starter money, that's why he went to Seattle. Considering Philbin got to watch Flynn for his whole career until then should tell you a lot about Flynn's value.

I flame on Jeff Ireland, but in fairness, it doesn't seem like Flynn is starter material. So that seems like a smart move by Ireland for once. Seattle has one of the most expensive backups in the league.
