If you think we underachieved this year with the attrition and injuries we have had you're just dumb. Our lineup looks NOTHING like it did in June.

when have we played up to our potential on offense since lesticles has been here

Last year with two mediocre QB's....

Next question

And while we're at it, it's a TEAM game. What about our D? Special Teams? Recruiting?

2006 and 2007 were pretty damn good no?

After that you've got to be kidding me...our potential? All we did was laugh at our QBs for the last 4 years and now we are saying we didn't play up to our potential? honestly we certainly played up to our potential if not beyond our potential in 2011 sans 1/9.

This debate is similar to the election.

The positigers, who pretty much think LSU could beat the Dolphins have their base.

The Negatigers, who will never be satisfied have their base.

And then there are the "swing voters", who try to impose a rational and unbiased viewpoint. My opinion is that those swing voters would love for Les to stay, but would not support a pay raise.

I think one could say that "IF" les were to actually leave, this would be the best time. We have more time to find a replacement this year than we can expect to ever get.

deep-down everyone knew Miles was smart to leave OSU for LSU....a much better job!

End of thread? So much fail

Miles leaving for Arky is not "deep, down... a much better job." It would also confirm that Miles was NEVER offered the Michigan job. A much better job to bolt for than Arky. And it gives NegaTigers concerns that their fears may be vaild, and Miles is looking to jump ship before the inevitable occurs.

Okie State wasn't jackshit until Les turned them around and historically is barely above .500.

Please tell me what's funny about it? Did we not kick the shite out of everyone we played besides Bama?

How many points did we average?

Were JJ and JL not mediocre QB's?

Surely you have more than "lol"

I'll wait for you reply

What exactly has Gundy done?

Told us he was forty and choked away a chance to play in the NCG by losing to a bad Iowa State team. He's also been drilled by Ole Miss in the Cotton Bowl.

What does this have to do with the OP?

Who said he was? He'd have to be interested in it to be offered. He told them no early on.

And what "inevitable" are we talking about?

Gundy is having success, but Okie St is a step below LSU. Not sure why people think they are equal programs.

I'm not seeing where anyone said that. What I said was IMHO Gundy has brought Okie Lt to a new level of success and consistency. It could be argued that Les could have done that if he had stayed.

Also, am I wrong for thinking that Gundy has turned Okie Lt into a much better program than what Les managed?

1) Boone Pickens is the real force behind Ok. State's resurgence.

2) Miles took over a 4-7 team at Ok. State in 2001.

3) Ok. State went to three straight bowl games in Les' last three years there.

4) He did this in a Big XII conference with more elite competition. Oklahoma was one of the best teams in CFB at this time. Texas was a perennial top 5 team. Nebraska played in the championship game the year Les took the reins. Texas Tech was becoming Leach team we all came to know.

5) Gundy was Miles' OC and benefited from Miles' recruiting pipelines. Gundy was literally following Les' trail in the case of players like Dez Bryant and Perrish Cox.

So, Les was wrong for pulling Lee in the Bama game and letting JJ win it for us.

Regardless, this has nothing to do with your original comment. LSU overachieved on Offense last year......

And that was the point of my contention to you

No it's not, and the reason OSU fans were pissed at Miles is because he handled the transition from OSU to LSU about as poorly as Saban.
