Chicken and dumplings in NOLA?

A friend of mine has been very ill for the past couple days and is beginning to feel a little better. She moved here from north Florida a couple months ago and chicken and dumplings is her ultimate comfort food. Is there anywhere in the area I can find some for her? I would try making it but I'm short on time today.

I have never seen it on a menu in NOLA. Sorry I can't be of help.

I think Cracker Barrel has it on the menu, I think Fat Hen as well?

Closest thing besides Cochon, is probably going to be the Jewish Chicken and Dumplings at Stein's aka Matzoh Ball soup.
