Most underrated recruit so far?

I'm going with Lewis Neal. Guy is tearing it up his senior year and has good film. He's not rated very high on recruiting sites and I'm not sure why. His production speaks for itself and so does the offers. If they were worried about his measurables, teams like Ohio State wouldn't want him.
He supposedly had 11 sacks in 5 games and only played half of each game at the beginning of the year. Ridiculous.
Here is some film: LINK

I like Neal a lot, been waiting for senior film to come out. Hard to judge him by his JR film.
I'll go with Andy Dodd. Rivals has him as a 3* and I'd be floored if he does not exceed that. He will start for LSU at guard or center for 2-3 years and be a force.

I think the reason Neal isn't rated higher is because a lot of recruiting services don't think he's going to get much better and lack of measurables. I believe he'll be a guy that comes right in and immediately gets PT somewhere. Whether it's on ST or in the DL rotation. He's very strong already and his film shows him with a nice repertoire of moves.

I've been hearing good things about Patterson at Winnfield. A coach who saw both up close told me they are completely comparable, that he can't say one is better than the other.
If he's as good as Williams, wow what a steal.

Neal, Patterson, and Dodd. All three are rated as 3 star players, but are much better than that.
Neal has 100+ tackles, 20+ for loss, 15+ sacks. He mainly plays during the 1st half.
Same for Patterson, he didn't play much during the 2nd half of games this year and still had over 12 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and a few TD's scored.
Dodd averaged 16 knockdown per game.

Patterson was actually my second choice.

Homer pick, but Dylan Burdeaux has been as good as a LB as WM has had IMO. He's going to Southern Miss for baseball, but the kid can play. He's also an outstanding punter. Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up on the football field in Hattiesburg.

Even though his highlight film was recently posted, I think it's Robinson. I think he's Cromartie 2.0

I can't see Neal at DE at LSU. I see him playing OLB. Just don't see him being able to line up at DE at that size in the SEC.

Neal will be strictly a pass rush specialist IMO, coming in on 3rd and long. I also think he plays as a true frosh.

Huh? He weighs over 240, he'll probably be 260-265 after a couple years. That's a good size for a DE in a 4-3, Mingo is around 235. His height doesn't matter, if anything it might even help since he knows how to use it to his advantage. Elvis Dumervil is only 5'11. Melvin Ingram is 6'1. Neal has a very similar build to Ingram

I think it's Leslie. I know a lot of people want RSJ, but I think with QL, LSU will be just fine. With Leslie you get the "big" receiver with some college (JC I know) experience that can help the team right away (see Patterson for TN). Plus, Leslie is a natural receiver already, he won't have to "learn" the position. RSJ measurables and potential are great, but I think there's a lot of drama there too (hince why TX pulled their offer).
I also say Melvin Jones, on Rivals he's only a 3* but received offers from 8 SEC schools and 3 Big 12 schools....hmmm....With his athleticism he could be stalwart in the 4-3 Defense. The potential of having M.Jones, Beckwith, and any of the 5 LBs from last year's class....the LB position would be set...LSU = LBU...lol.. Question: Could M.Jones possibly move to DE: (6'3 246lbs 4.6 40)???

I know you don't mean anything by it but we recruit at a level where other teams say this about us. It's great isn't it. If miles wants a player that doesn't have typical physical attributes it's bc he's a badass.

He is more like 270 lbs now and still moves well, so who knows where he will be in the front seven. He was thought to be a MLB but after he put on the weight there was talk about possibly DT. Kid just won't stop growing. Give him a redshirt year to learn the system and what ever position and he will be special.

I gotta go with m.patterson.
kid is just a natural off the ball, but for some reason is the least talked about in the 2013 class

Elcee Refuge #7 LB for Edna Karr underated will be an All State selection this year

I can't pick one, but I agree with all of the names mentioned previously. I think Neal and Patterson will be not good, but great players before they leave LSU. I love Rashard Robinson's confidence and swagger as well. Great trait for a CB

tre white. I know that sounds crazy but i told my friend he was the best corner in the country way before his jump in the rankings. I'll be shocked if he not ranked in the top 10 in the country after the all star games. He is that good

Tre White, Robinson and Cutrer (if he makes it) all on the field at the same time....
