Who has the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card?

I just picked up the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card last night and waiting for it in the mail. What is the catch?
1. 40k miles for signing up.
2. 2x points for $1 on Dinning and Travel.
3. All other points 1.25 points for $1.
4. No international transaction fees.
5. 7% of annual total points adding to year ending balance.
6. United, Southwest, Korean Air etc.
8. Fee $95.
I am shocked how good this card is, for a credit card, on paper but I wanted to hear from users.
I pay $500 each for the Visa Black (Credit Card) and Platinum Amex (Charge Card) yet this Chase cards seems like a much better deal than the Visa Black for a credit card not a charge card.
If this card is that good I will cancel my Visa Black which is a ripoff compared to this Chase card on fees and rewards alone. I am a minimalist in one aspect as I hate having more cards than I need. I'd prefer one great credit card and one great charge card.
What do you card holders say?

I am considering getting one of these also, but haven't yet. Just waiting for my refi to disburse, should be in the next week or so.

Don't buy your mom's new car with it, auto dealers will tack on the credit card fee.

That money has left the barn in form of a check. However, I would've LOVED to put it all on my charge card if they would've let me.

I looked at getting it today.... Just not for me
My question is WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU GET THE VISA BLACK??? On top of having the Amex Plat
Cancel the Visa black (really I would see if you can downgrade it to a fee free card)

Ive got it and I have no complaints.
Don't like that it has the annual fee and I might cancel it when the end of the intro year is up if I can't get it waived.

Recommendation from a friend, granted he sits in airports all day, plus I was prequalified in the mail so I said why not. I thought it would rival the Amex Plat but... man was I wrong.
I already have a Visa Signature so I really have no where to go on the Visa end especially if this Chase card tops the Visa list.
Why did you decide against the Chase card?

How long have you had it?

I wasn't paying attention to the poster... My bad Sun
Amex platinum gets you into the same airline clubs as the Visa Black I would think
I have my delta Amex... I travel exclusively on Delta for work and it gives me everything I need...
But I agree it's good to have an alternate card to your Amex
ETA: main reason I did not get it was the annual fee... My $450 annual fee for Amex is plenty for me

I got it because of foreign travel. coolest thing about is is that it is heavy. it always suprises people one lady asked if it was made out of lead.

Chase Saph Preferred is the best rewards deal out there that I have found. Use it for everything that's not gas and groceries.
And it's free if you spend enough $. you can get them to waive the fees.

Is this better than the Chase Freedom? Absolutely love that card........I have a personal one, and one joint card for my wife and I. The joint card we just redeemed around $800, after only about 10 months.
We put absolutely everything on that card, and just pay it off every month.

Usually the threshold is 10k a year to get it free on a card like that.

If that's the case I will get this... I can easily do this and still hit my need on my Amex
Thanks
