This gives an indication of the type of ignorance we are dealing with:
quote:

North Texas solid win
Washington solid win
Idaho solid win
Auburn scraped by, very lucky to win
Towson scraped by a weak team, could have lost
Florida lost, game not as close as score reflects
S.C. barely scraped by, lucky to win
Texas A and M barely scraped by, luck played role
Alabama solid loss
Miss State solid win
Ole Miss barely scraped by, lucky to win
Arkansas barely scraped by, lucky to win due to bad call by Ark. coach
[quote]

Then this just drives it HOME!!!

quote:

Georgia beat Florida who beat LSU so LSU would clearly lose to Ga.

This may blow your mind then - LSU beat USCe who destroyed UGA so using your logic (not much but Im playing along here) what happens now?

In reading this, is a "solid loss" the exact converse of a "scraped by, lucky to win"?

That does hurt my logic, but you also have to figure that, in college football, there are those inexplicable games where the better team gets trounced. Plus, Georgia won the East which really controls.

Thus, Georgia > Florida > LSU makes much more sense than LSU > SC > Georgia.
