Glad to help out.
Flopping dogs are better than biting scratching cats. You can usually get a topical anesthetic to numb that area before you stick it at any drug store. Or just hold some ice on there for a while. Good luck!

If it was a cat I'd just shoot it. I couldn't be a small animal vet just because I hate cats.
You should post here more. There's always somebody here with some type of dog problems.
