Quit trying to use logic tigerbayou. All you need to know is 10-2 and that's all that matters. Miles does nothing wrong so don't even question his motives. 10-2

Give it a rest. We get it. You don't like the guy for some reason.

Actually I tolerate him. Don't dislike him but don't have some love affair with him like others obviously do either.

Yeah. I really don't know what the deal is. I livethewinsbut scratch my head at how ugly they are. That's why I come here to read opinions but it's hard with all the "negatard" or whatever the stupidass insult du jour is anytime someone questions anything.
Exactly. Anyone that doesn't agree with any and every move the coach makes is a negatiger. There is middleground. I love lsu win or lose. But just cause lsu wins doesn't necessarily mean all is well. Winning does mask problems but it doesn't eliminate them. But heaven forbid anyone try to point them out. Cause then they aren't real lsu fans and should go cheer for another team cause we weren't around for the 90's

Sure seems like you hate the guy, to be honest. I've met him several times and he's a great guy.
Has he frustrated me in some games, absolutely. But you should still give him credit.

One thing that gets overlooked is that the close games against inferior competition cuts into valuableon field experiencefortheyounger players. We often bemoan or worry about how we're going to replace certain players at the beginning of the year because the players penciled in have virtually no experience. The assholes two states to our east just plug in replacements each year that are already seasoned. I'm not complaining about the results, just think
we make it harder on ourselves at times.
Good point. How many snaps have we been able to get rivers this season?...barely any....the one advantage to the injuries we have suffered and suspensions n such is that we have had some young ppl get a lot of quality time this year. But w/o those things we haven't had many blowouts to be able to get them some meaningful snaps. By meaningful I mean not 4th quarter against freaking Idaho.

Birdman I give home credit when credit is due. But for games like today and last Saturday and the numerous others that will not even get into, no I will not. It's not even how close the score at the end if the game is, it's how it got to that point and what went wrong. Like bayou said its the ones that resort to all ter name calling two year old crap because we don't agree when someonesays how great of a job miles did for example.

Plus the starters don't get the rest they would in a blowout.
It's been said plenty but I'll say again that Mett should've played a lot more last year.

I understand your frustration, I do, honestly.
I never thought we'd lose this game. Don't mistake that with me being pleased how we played however.
I can see why we played very conservatively, but, like I said, I'm not a fan of how we played yet we did win on the road and that's always a good thing.
Anyway, hope I didn't piss you off by anything I posted. That's not my intention.

Agreed. What if rivers plays as sparingly next year as this. How will he be at all ready when Mett leaves if it ends up being him as Metts successor. No amount of practice can simulate game action.

This about sums it up, and they'll get so heated about it they'll start arguing with you about shite you didn't say or lump you into one big group and act like everyone questioning shite is saying the same thing.........they lose their minds

That's true but some seem to post disrespectful garbage and then when called on it, they respond with "I'm just being realistic" which is hardly the case.
Being realistic would be appreciating the way this team has stuck together and fought to get to where they are now.
Criticizing the coaching staff is understandable but to say they're incompetent is wrong. They might not win the game in the way you'd want it won, but it is a win.

I can be disappointed in the way the game went for the most part, and still be happy about a win. I can think some things need to change and still support Les Miles 100%.

I never said anything to the contrary.

No doubt.

I can only think of the ball control O when the O is able to work the clock every possession. It not only keeps the score down it makes it close. So if you can't score quick you have to rely on the D to not trade score for score. I think a lot of the games are like that lately. You have to say they have been making each game a nail biter and heart stopper.

We have more talent than any of those teams. I am glad you see everything through else colored glasses. Have some perspective and intelligence and stop being a sheep. There is no reason in the world that rivers hasn't gotten some practice time this year! We should have had games well in hand against lesser opponents. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with the win. But honestly look at this team and tell me we're getting better defensively are you retarded?
