I can't believe Adriano did that. Unreal. Makes Suarez look like Pope JPII.

yeah they're gonna take a PR hit (not that it will matter much ) but most people were really starting to like them due to their style of play and (somewhat, but not much) underdog-type of story.

I don't see why the ref couldn't disallow it and give him a yellow based on this rule.

Unsportsman like conduct. To quote from the laws of the game:
There are different circumstances when a player must be cautioned for unsporting behaviour, e.g. if a player: acts in a manner which shows a lack of respect for the game.

I was one of them. Its is kind of funny though in a really fricked up kind of way.

The goal has to stand because the ball was in play once the other Shakhtar player took the drop kick.
The precedent for unsportingly scored goals is typically to allow the opposing team to score an unobstructed goal.
The referee has no jurisdiction on making that decision. It comes down the players agreeing that the goal scored was not in the spirit of the game.
But then again I know nothing.

Why, once the game got out of hand, did someone on NordLKJGKJSJD not wipe him the f out? I would have loved to be the one to make sure that was the last impact he had on this years CL. What a grade A piece of dog shite.

Yeah.. I'm saying the ref can just blow the whistle right when he sees what Adriano is doing and bring him back to give him a yellow for unsporting conduct that hurts the respect of the game or whatever that rule says above.

Pretty hilarious, but he should have received two feet right to the chest.

From what I read, the Shaktar coach instructed his players to put one in their net to "make it right", and they refused.
I'm disappointed in Michael Parkhurst for not ending that dude's night/season, because I sure as hell would have.

My thoughts exactly, can't believe they let that go unpunished. Especially after he scored again. Somebody should have ended his celebration abruptly and violently.

Looks like Adriano is facing UEFA charges
What's the appropriate suspension if it is indeed ruled foul play? A game or two?
