They only care about MD basketball and people will never care as much about playing Michigan State and Indiana like they do about playing UNC and Duke. Oh and FWIW, everybody is hating this move.
I think this is smaller part of a bigger move for the Big 10 and MD helps bridge the gap to maybe say UNC and UVA.
