Yep. I've been killing it the past quarter in reits that invest in nursing homes.

I'm in LEN and TOL. HD is also a good stock.

Take a look at Blackstone stock (BX). Recommended by Goldman Sachs a few weeks ago.

I don't keep up with them but have 8-10% of my portfolio in REITs for diversification.

I'm invested in some funds that utilize REITS. REITS, as with real estate, need to be looked at from a bottom up view as real estate is still very fragmented in terms of performance. On aggregate things are improving and I think you're biggest surprise on the upside to GDP the next couple quarters will be real estate (Still don't expect anything over a 1.5-2.0% real GDP figure though).
