I pre-ordered Black Ops II hardened edition for Xbox Oct. 24. My younger brother made the same order on Oct. 30. Well, come release day, his order is on his doorstep, mine is not. In fact, mine has not even shipped yet. I called customer service last night and they told me they are sold out right now, but at that time, they still had the hardened edition listed as in stock online. After I complained, I was told to hold while the girl went to talk to her resources. She came back and told me that they could not cancel my order because it was on a truck with an expected delivery date between the 19th-26th, and that I should just wait. I said that I would do that but that I do not understand why so many people that pre-ordered much later than I did received their copy but not me. All she would say is "Yes, sorry for the inconvenience." Interestingly, after this they changed the status of the hardened edition online to say that it might take an extra 1 to 2 days of processing. I take back anything nice I have ever said about Amazon and they are not being truthful with their customers. I call bs on my order being on a truck, if that was the case then it should have been here already. They are more than likely buying time while they try to get more in inventory.

Seriously call customer service and ask to speak to the highest position person available and do not take no for an answer. Call back multiple times and you will get somebody eventually but tell them what has happened and it will be worth your while. I did that with a restaurant one time when I had super shitty service and the manager didn't want to do anything about it so I called and called and eventually got to talking with the Southeast district manager and got 5 free entree cards in the mail.

Did you get a tracking? Every little/big item has a tracking #. Do you have one?

Seen other reports of delays with Amazon, but I have Prime and mine was on my doorstep Tuesday. Prime is the best money you can spend if you order online alot.

And if your order history says, "Not shipped" and there is no tracking number, then it hasn't shipped and it isnt on a truck. As soon as mine left the warehouse I got an email saying it had shipped, and the tracking info was current. Somebody was blowing smoke up your urethra.

Look I deal with Amazon daily. I order a ton from them. Grant it I am a prime member, but anytime I have had issues they have been MORE than helpful and understanding. These guys comp'd me a fricking generator, no lies.

Call them back and talk to them nicely, you may not get the game when you want it, but they should offer you a discount or something. Don't let them get off by just saying oh well...
