Mike at Reggio cought a lil over 25,000 pounds in 24 hours with just 1 wingnet off the dock. And yes, I did pick up some from him. Paid him $1.75 a lb. Was more of a mix of 40-10 count.

Was that a small boat/skiff? If so that is a pretty damn good trip. But with a big boat there are lots of expenses.
Back when my parents used to have their dock in Venice, we used to have some shrimp boats have $50,000+ trips(shrimp was worth double back in the 80's before all of the Asian imports) and we even had some tuna boats have $100,000+ trips but those were all big boats.
