Then Da Clan wins.
The switch is for making sure that any possible map imbalances are evened out.

The cumulative score wins, I have no problem with that.

Also it sounds like with the new style that capping B isn't quite as critical as before. Cap A and C if you just want the points. Maybe. Idk

Day 1 of BLOPS II mania and the gripe thread is longer than the fap thread.
does this bode ill for the newest member of the CoD family?

It makes trip caps more important, at least in GB or MLG play. Any time spent on trip cap is seriously fricking your chances come next round.

You know how it is corndog. The stuff we look forward to had been beaten to death the last month. Now it's time to voice our displeasure lol

This is my problem with the newest versions of COD. MW3 was atrocious and rewarded bad players. If you're good at a game and can run a successful spawn trap, why should you get penalized for that? Isn't the point of the game to be good and have fun?
Flipping the sides rewards the losing team and rewards bad players.

I just hope my internet is back up when I get home this evening so I can form my own negative opinions about this thing.

This doesn't reward bad players at all. If you can rape bad players into one spawn then you can rape them into another. This just ensures that if one spawn is more advantageous then both teams get a chance to capitalize on it.
I mean these are MLG rules, which are designed to make gun on gun and teamwork the most important factors.

Just don't see how it does. Makes it more interesting for evenly matched teams and if you suck, it won't make much of a difference.

If a team has strongpoints held down and the opposing team can't break out the spawn, then it absolutely rewards the bad team by allowing them to get out of the spawn trap.
If I'm sitting behind a head-glitch killing player after player and the round ends and I have to switch sides, that kinda sucks. It's not a game ender, because demo has been this way forever.
But it does help a spawn trapped team out by letting them out. Sure, if you're a good enough team, you can get them trapped again, but what's the point? Making the game more evenly matched? I don't want the game evenly matched, I want to win the game as easily as possible.

To each his own, but I like balance. The better team wins more often when the spawns flip at half.

This says a lot.

Maybe enough people complained about spawn traps. Not every aspect of every game has to be tailored to the hardcore 2.5 kd crowd

This isn't much of a gripe thread. More like a discussion about when people are picking up the game and a little concern over the new domination rules.

About to pick mine up in the next hour.
I'm in sales and on the road most days so I can pull a "work" from home every now and then. This afternoon. One of those moments haha.

My score sometimes gets higher when my team is spawn trapped. I don't camp because it makes the game too easy, but when you force me to, I rape.
