Completely wrong.

The demise of the OM football program is the lack of progressive thinking from the athletic department. They failed to capitalize on the success of the 60's and 70's and did not have the foresight to move the program ahead, instead were content to sit on their asses while other schools easily passed them. Instead it became an Old Boy's Club full of croynism, entitlement, and laziness.

Sure things like small state, academic troubles, small town, MSU, small stadium etc are a factor, but not the crux of the problem. They are the results of a crappy athletic department.
