I'm not one to give up on current seasons, I believe an 11-2 record, considering what we've been through this season (injuries, attrition, academic casualties, transfers, etc.) it's a damn good record. But, this is always the time of year I start looking ahead a little bit, especially when we are officially out of the NC race. Again, I'm not done with 2012, still as pumped as ever to possibly get a Sugar Bowl bid. We could be pretty damn good next year, however we have some holes.

Now, I know many of you are going to disagree with some of the predictions but that's why this board is as good as it is. I went ahead and assumed Reid, Mingo, Montgomery, Logan and Blue jump to the NFL after recent rumors. I went ahead and started Williford and Tahj JOnes when they come back, both are toss-ups. I also put in some predicted recruits just to give a sense of what the depth chart could be like. For one, our offense looks extremely solid on paper, and I can't believe I'm about to say this but our wide outs look deadly. Defensively, our DB's are young but talented, all linebackers are coming back. Only major ? is DL. DT's look pretty solid, maybe some concerns in depth. DE's will have some raw talent but mainly our freshman are going to have to step up, I HOPE Jordan Allen steps up, I had high hopes for him when he signed here. Okay guys, let me hear it.

That may be how it starts, but Diarse will be one of the top 3 on the team by mid season

I agree with that thought, I always have trouble predicting how FR WR's are going to do, it's a whole new ballgame but I am a fan of Diarse.

And I predicted some of the recruits such as beckwith, RSJ, gilmore, Willis

With the exception of last saturdays game.....WR prospects gotta be hesitant to committ to LSU who has shown a weakness in its passing offense this year (finished in the bottom 25 teams last year).

That said, Mett did show he has the ability the throw the ball well, and a 6-6 target woiuld be nice.

Seals-Jones has ruled Oregon out but is still considering Texas A&M as well as LSU.

I like it, the size on the o-line will be devastating to any team we play outside of Bama. I think Ego and Freak will be a rock in the middle, the only place we need someone to step up is at DE and Rasco will likely fit the bill, just need someone on the other side.

I'm not so sure Minter comes back.

someone stated in another thread they spoke to Minter's parents at a game and they told him kevin was leaving after the season.
