Never heard it told that way.
The orange bowl game that year was awesome also even though we lost. I would love to be able to watch it again b/c the memory that sticks out the most was Martin making a diving one handed catch. I just want to know if my memory of it was as good as the catch really was

Yeah, the joke was "Did you hear Bear Bryant had a heart attack?" and the punch line was "he woke up and asked what time it was, and his wife said 20 to 10."
BTW, to the poster who said he told that joke "for years", Bear Bryant actually died of a heart attack within a year of that game, ruining the joke for everybody.
